Please read these rules and follow them.

These rules are here to try to make sure as many people get the songs they want.

1.You must provide record label and number with your request. This information can be found by entering the artist and song title on Google. We have had to ask you to do this because otherwise we get so many 'false' requests. If you can't find the information then it's quite likely that the artist did not record that song. If you are convinced they did but still can't find the info ask if anyone else can help by posting in the Forum.

2. Songs requests must be at least 25 years old. (this is an 'OLDIES' site) but later than 1945 (i.e. post war).  Modern groups who record songs in the 'oldies' style don't count. The whole point of the site is to try to get you some of the songs you remember from your youth.

3. Songs must have been commercially released. We'll never find tracks that were 'promotional' copies played on local radio.

4. The limit is 1 song request each 24 hrs. It's the only way that I can try to get songs to as many people as possible.

5. Please check the archives and the wanted list to see if the song you want is there. If you request a song that I have already posted I won't post it again. If I repost previously posted stuff we'll end up with the same stuff going round and round each week.

6. If you have requested songs and have not received them don't request them again. It won't make them magically appear.

7. Please post your requests in the following format.   'Artist - Song Title'    with the first letter of each word capitalised. I know it sounds as though I'm being a bit fastidious but it would make it SO much easier for Ed and the others compiling 'wanted' lists and also for me and the helpers when searching for the songs.
